Use Case pro-micron: Individualised KPI dashboard

Use case participants:
• sensor manufacturer (pro-micron)
• manufacturing end user (KWS Kölle)

Sensor tool holders of the “spike” type from pro-micron are installed on the machine tools of KWS Kölle. The measured values of these sensor systems are used to calculate KPIs for KWS Kölle about the quality and stability of the cutting process. Due to the process’s dependency on stability and quality limits, a blanket calculation of the KPIs is not meaningful enough. In this use case, pro-micron uses measurement and process data released by KWS Kölle (material, cutting parameters, drive currents, etc.) for the AI-supported calculation of individualised KPI.
