In this use case, Munsch uses the machine tools of DMG Mori, into which ball screws from Berger were installed.

Ball screws are wearing parts whose life cycle is difficult to estimate due to numerous, dynamic influencing factors. An unplanned failure can lead to major production losses for the manufacturing end user.

This use case focuses on a condition monitoring system for ball screws. Based on machine data provided by Munsch, the system enables to estimation the remaining service life.
